Once your junk pick up appointment is over, we will ultimately take your junk away to a disposal site. However, this doesn’t always mean we’ll dump it at a landfill. We actually believe that we should avoid landfills and transfer stations every chance we get. Look, we all know that landfills aren’t exactly great for the environment. We use them out of necessity and not out of convenience. Only the stuff that can’t go anywhere else winds up at the landfill if we have anything to say about it. Everything else is disposed of in a more eco-friendly manner. Yes, we’re talking about recycling and donations!
We’ll sort through everything we collect and keep an eye out for items that are made of metal, cardboard, paper, plastic, and other recyclable materials. Then, we’ll take them to an appropriate recycling facility. In addition, we will also keep an eye out for any old belongings that are still in good condition. If we can imagine it on the shelves of a local thrift store, then we’ll do our best to make sure it winds up there.
